DidPDX: The Year in Review 2024

This year is rapidly coming to an end...

With that in mind, we figured this would be a good opportunity to revisit how Portland partied in 2024. Luckily, we don't have to rely solely on memory to do so. We gathered a BUNCH of data from our site to show you what the most loved shows, craziest moments, and biggest events of the year were in Portland.

Looking at the numbers, one thing is for sure: we DidPDX.

The festival that took over Portland in 2024?

Project Pabst was hands down the #1 festival of the year!

Did you experience the magic? Did you drop your car keys in a port-o-potty? Both are entirely possible.

A lot happened this year... let's recap

Providence Park began hosting live events for the first time in nearly 20 years. The venue underwent $130 million in renovations over the last few years. Fun fact: The first concert at Providence Park was Elvis in 1957.

Portlanders had two chances to see the aurora borealis (aka the Northern Lights) this year due to powerful geomagnetic storms - once in August and another in October. Did you see them?

In what experts called the most expansive voting reform from a US city in decades, Portland adopted ranked-choice voting this year! Of course, Portland would lead the charge in progressive ideas.
